Geralds terrible day

There was only one word racing in Geralds mind. "Run! Run!" Nothing else. He had a good reason why he kept thinking about running. He was starring at a tiger.

He couldn't help it! He ran for his dear life! He didn't stop to look behind him, he just kept running. But soon he came to a dead end
"Help! Somebody please help me!" He shouted, hoping someone would hear him. "Help!"
There's no one around that can hear you. You will be a glorious dinner to my family and I." Said the tiger. The Tigers eyes were like fire! Darkness fell upon the jungle. The tiger leaped in the air. Gerald closed his eyes. He knew that it was the end for him. He was ready for this moment of death. The tiger let out a ferocious roar as he got thrown to the ground. Gerald opened his eyes. He saw a platypus, fighting off the tiger. He was fast! He was zooming around the tiger, kicking him as he went around it. The force of the Tiger looked very painful.the tiger gave up. He couldn't stand getting kicked anymore. He then ran away.
"Thanks." Said Gerald.
"Don't mention it." Said the platypus. "I don't do this very often. I guess you got lucky."
"Yeah. Lucky." Gerald said.
"Lucky that you will be my dinner tonight." Then platypus said, as his eyes turned to see fire.
"What do you mean? I got lucky because you saved me!" Gerald said, as he backed up slowly. "Now I got lucky that I found you!" Said the platypus, as he liked his lips. "AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Gerald screamed. The he remembered what his dad said to him when he was a little giraffe. "Be strong and brave. Don't let anything stop you." Then he ran and up to the platypus and stomped on him. The platypus let out a high-pitched scream.
"I didn't know that you scream like a girl." Said Geared.  The platypus gave up and ran away. He promised himself that he would never try to eat a giraffe ever again.
"And don't come back!" Gerald said.

From then on, no one dared to attack Gerald. Not even the ferocious Lions! So then Gerald had a good life. He decided to move to the Amazon rainforest. When... "Fasten your seat belts passengers! The plane is going to crash! "
